PATHMENTUM TERMS OF USE
By accessing or using Pathmentum, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms").
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Subscriptions & Billing (Apple)
All payments are processed by Apple via In-App Purchases.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Subscription management, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple
- You can manage your subscription via iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription
- Pricing may change in the future, and any changes will be communicated where required
4. Premium Access
Premium features are unlocked based on verified subscription entitlement. Access may be removed if a subscription expires, is canceled, or becomes invalid.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Attempt to bypass paywalls or security systems
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit the Service
- Use the Service for abusive, harmful, or unlawful purposes
6. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create within Pathmentum, including journal entries, reflections, and other personal inputs.
You grant Pathmentum a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are responsible for the content you create and ensure it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
7. AI & General Disclaimer (Important)
Pathmentum provides AI-powered reflections and self-improvement tools for informational and personal use only.
- The content generated by the app may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your specific situation
- Pathmentum does not provide medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice
- You should not rely on the app as a substitute for professional advice
If you are experiencing a serious mental health issue or crisis, you should seek help from a qualified professional.
You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.
8. Service Availability
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from interruptions.
Features may change, be updated, or discontinued at any time without notice.
9. Data & Storage
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we do not guarantee that your content will never be lost, corrupted, or inaccessible.
10. Intellectual Property
All branding, design, UI, and features of the Service are the property of Pathmentum and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
12. Warranty Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pathmentum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Pathmentum in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
